Ack Attack Post 12: Tuner Integra

Of the Acuras, the Integra is by far the most modded car. There are simple modifications that can be done, such as rims, race tires, audio systems, and changing the headlights/taillights. There are more complicated mods though, such as putting on underglow, putting in racing seats, adding a P-chip, and putting in a turbo. Lambo doors are not a very common mod, but they are easy to install because all you need is a difference door hinge. Underglow neons are cheap to buy and super easy to install. All you need is a pair of ramps to put the car on, a few tools, some electrical tape, and a couple hours.

Many people find it easier to mod cars on their own rather than paying to have someone else to do it. Tuning has become a huge phenomenon and the 'Teg is dead center in it. Sleeper cars are not too common in 'Tegs. A sleeper is a car that shows no exterior markings of being a "race" car. The main things done to sleepers deal with the engine and intake. This way, someone could add a turbo and no one would know it when they line up next to you, until they hear the blow-off valve.

There are many different types of body kits, which one you choose just depends on your personal style. Rims are nearly infinte and new ones are being produced all the time. Painting callipers is also an extremely easy mod. Just take the wheels off, make sure the car is cold, and paint on! Spray painting or painting with a brush are both possibilities - you can find kits for both at any auto parts store. You can buy books which have step-by-step instructions on different mods you can do and how to do them as well as joining forums to gather ideas from others.
