Ack Attack Post 11: Future/Concepts

There are 2 new concept cars for Acura: the Sedan concept and the Sports Car concept. The Sedan is a 4 door vehicle with a large chrome piece that looks like a smile. There are many parts of the car that are chrome. The lighting is also very futuristic. Small triangular near 35 degree angle lights are in the front while there is a strip down the trunk with two lights on either side. Large chrome rims, reminds me of an older Rolls Royce with a kick.

The second concept car is a two-door sports car. In reality, this is supposed to be the replacement for the NSX. The rims on this car are absolutely stunning - brushed silver spider spokes with an juicy chrome center. Shaved door handles allow for better air flow and a more aerodynamic design. Headlights are very small and look blue and yellow, while the tail lights are huge and take up the majority of the trunk. The tail lights seem to follow the pattern of an Infiniti G35, and a quadruple exhaust add a design element unseen before on the Acura scene.

Overall, these cars are just extremely futuristic and will most likely not be embraced quite yet by the public. As a matter of fact, Acura has a survey on their site asking the public their opinion of the models, so it seems they are not too sure how smoothly we can transition into these futuristic cars, either.
